My new situation inspired me and opened my eyes for plenty of opportunities. Long since I had been feeling the urge to explore new horizons and search for adventure.
Something I hadn’t been able to follow through with while studying, nor during my time as an employee. In college I couldn’t afford moving abroad in order to get a foreign study experience. And neither was I able to see other parts of the world in my personal time, those were limited to short stays every two years or so.
Despite occasional traveling for work, seeing some of the world was a chance and experience I really felt was missing in my life.
Becoming thirty, I took my shot to finally realize my dreams and travel. The time was there, so by January, I had booked my plane ticket to the other side of the world and I was ready, set for backpacking through South East Asia.
